Burger Activity Center
The Toney Burger Activity Center is an athletics center and occasion place, which organizes football, basketball, baseball, soccer, marching band, and track activities. It likewise houses the head office for AISD’s Sports Department. Built in 1977, the Toney Burger Activity Center remains on 48.1 acres in South Austin.
There is a large stadium at the Toney Burger Activity Center. At this large stadium, athletes of all kinds play many different types of sports. Football stars hike the ball and throw awesome touchdowns. Soccer players pass the ball and score goals under the bright stadium lights. Baseball players play at this stadium, too. The baseballers hit home runs, catch fly balls, field grounders, and throw outs. The marching band plays in between the sporting events to entertain the audience with their mighty horns and deep, booming, bass drums. Finally, track stars from all around Austin do all the different track events that they do. They do shotput, javelin throwing, 100m dashes, and even 1500m runs. The Barton Springs Municipal Pool is also nearby.
The Burger Activity Center is located on 3200 Jones Road, about 10 minutes away from Smith Family Chiropractic in Austin, Texas.
