University of Texas at Austin

The University of Texas at Austin is often colloquially referred to as UT Austin, or just simply UT. It is a prestigious public research facility and considered to be a Public Ivy. It is also one of the largest institutions in the nation in terms of enrollment. Astonishingly, over 50,000 undergraduate students are enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, and also around 25,000 staff and faculty.

In Texas they say the bigger the better. Not only does the campus have over 50,000 undergraduate students, but it is also has very large university grounds. The university grounds are almost 582 hectares large and are home to many research facilities and even a stunning, amazing observatory.The campus mascot is the Texas Longhorns, and the student athletes compete in the Big 12 Conference.

The University of Texas at Austin is located in Downtown Austin Texas off 35 highway and Martin Luther King JR Boulevard. It is near the Texas State Capitol.
